Adriaan Mout of architectural firm LEVS designed the unique building. ‘The terraced shape makes the building very spectacular. Actually, the building continues the undulation of the water. And when the afternoon sun reflects in the water, you can really see how special this place is. Sometimes it's as if the horizon is on fire, beautiful! That's why we shaped the building around the water on the south-west side. Then almost every resident can enjoy that effect.’
The courtyard garden forms the central resting point of the building. The garden will be decorated with pretty benches, beautiful trees and a mix of shrubs and flowers that attract birds and butterflies. All residents will have access to this communal garden.
