What are mutation costs?

When you have terminated the rental agreement, an inspector will come to inspect the house for any shortcomings/defects. During this preliminary inspection you will be made aware of the points that need to be repaired/replaced etc. This gives you the opportunity to fix these defects yourself. During the final inspection that takes place about 14 days later, we will check whether these points are actually fixed. If this is not the case, we will be forced to have the work done by a third party and pass the costs on to you. We call these costs mutation costs.

Please note, these costs will be higher than if you handle the repairs yourself, as they include call-out fees, administration charges, and higher hourly rates.
